In addition to departmental and college committee work, I am on the editorial board of three peer-reviewed journals (Journal of Disability Policy Studies,  Career Development and Transition for Exceptional Individuals, and Journal of Vocational Rehabilitation) and serve as a guest reviewer for additional peer-reviewed journals (Remedial and Special Education and Journal of Child and Family Studies).

I am a member of the Council for Exceptional Children's Division on Career Development and Transition (DCDT). DCDT is the national organization for professionals who are interested in transition practices and policies. I am member of the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD), which is a national organization that works to improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am a member of the AAIDD Education Interest Network and the AAIDD Sexual and Social Concerns Interest Network.
